Monte Jade is a richly-featured reference design for the Intel® IXP425™ network processor targeting a wide range of applications including wireless residential gateways with network attached storage and print server capability, security solutions providing VPN termination, and complete voice over IP solutions for the small office. ADI offers full support of Monte Jade, from selling and supporting the development kit, actively supporting customer evaluation and development, to rapid customization of the design to specific requirements, through flexible production across all volumes.

Monte Jade ships from ADI with the Jungo OpenRG "Application in a Flash" evaluation kit pre-installed. This kit includes a suite of fully functional, pre-built applications that enable simple and immediate evaluation of such end-user applications as 802.11b/g, ADSL, VoIP, VPN and firewall using Monte Jade.
